MISA Malawi co-opts New Members into the NGC

New members to represent the legal and accountancy sectors.

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi Chapter would like to notify the membership and stakeholders that Mrs. Lilian Khofi and Mrs. Chikondi Kasambara have been appointed as members of MISA Malawi National Governing Council (NGC).

Mrs. Lilian Khofi and Mrs. Chikondi Kasambara have been co-opted into the NGC in line with Article 6.1 (D) of the MISA Malawi Constitution which empowers the NGC to appoint new members to represent the legal and accountancy sectors.

Mrs. Khofi replaces Mrs. Wiza Mwenitete Ngoma as the representative of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM), and Mrs. Kasambara replaces Justice Mandala Mambulasa as the representative of the Malawi Law Society (MLS).

Mrs. Khofi and Kasambara were both nominated by their respective professional bodies. The two bring to the MISA Malawi NGC expertise and enthusiasm crucial for institutional governance and implementation of MISA Malawi strategic objectives.

MISA Malawi sincerely thank Justice Mandala Mambulasa and Mrs. Ngoma for their indelible contributions to the organization and congratulates Mrs. Khofi and Mrs. Kasambara on their appointment.
