The Presidential Debates Taskforce wishes to inform all stakeholders that the second Presidential Debate will be held on September 9, 2025, at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) from 6pm.

The Taskforce rescheduled the debate to allow for further engagement with political parties.

The Taskforce reminds the general public that only invited guests will be admitted into the venue of the debates.

Presidential debates are a vital part of a healthy democracy, helping voters make informed decisions. They provide a platform to help hold leaders accountable for their promises and an opportunity to clarify their manifesto pledges and show how their plans connect with national development goals.

Participating in the debates is a key part of the social contract between leaders and citizens, demonstrating a commitment to accountability, responsiveness, and transparency.
