The Presidential Debates Task Force would like to inform the general public, development partners and all stakeholders that the second Presidential Debate has been shifted to a later date to be announced over the weekend to create space for further engagement with political parties.

The second presidential debate was initially scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025.

The postponement allows the Task Force to engage in productive discussions with political parties that failed to participate in the first debate.
