MISA Malawi takes fundraising activities to Mzuzu, Blantyre

MISA Malawi Fundraising Committee has organized a series of fundraising activities for all the three main cities of Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Blantyre.

MISA Malawi Fundraising Committee has organized a series of fundraising activities for
all the three main cities of Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Blantyre.

Lilongwe is scheduled to host a fun run on Saturday 11th August, Mzuzu is expected to
host a fundraising music show on Saturday 25th August and Blantyre will see golfers
battling it out on Saturday September 1.

The proceeds of the three activities will go towards the purchase of an office building for the organisation. Individual participation fees for the fun-run will be K5,000 for half the distance and K10,000 for the full distance while for institutions it will be K50,000 for half the distance and K100,000 for the full distance for 5 representatives. The fees and other details for the Mzuzu and Blantyre events will be communicated in due course.

MISA Malawi’s Fundraising Committee has set a target of MK30 million for the
procurement of an office building and hopes to raise part of this money during the three activities.
