MISA Malawi is appealing to all its paid up and prospective members for support to purchase an office building for the Chapter.

MISA Malawi is appealing to all its paid-up and prospective members for support in purchasing an office building for the Chapter.

Since its establishment in 1997, MISA Malawi has been operating from rented premises, which is unsustainable considering the organisation’s current financial position.

We are appealing to organisations and individuals, including all paid-up and prospective members, to support this initiative. As a MISA Malawi member, you are one of a few committed supporters of media freedom and freedom of expression and we have all the reason to believe that you will support the Chapter to have its own office.

We have set a target of MK30 million and we hope you will contribute any amount for the Chapter to realise this money. We will publicly acknowledge all the support we will receive towards this initiative.

You can deposit your support in the following special account we have opened for the project.

We trust you will find merit and reason to support this noble cause.

Teresa Temweka Ndanga
Chairperson, MISA Malawi
